Burleigh Heads - Carols in the Park

This Sunday from 5pm to 8.15pm at Justin's Park, Burleigh Heads Beach let your family be entertained by a Holiday season favourite. Join the locals to support our local artists, kids entertainment and food vans. The night is capped with a huge fireworks display. Bring a beach towel or blanket to sit on - but get there early to get a good seat as this is a verty popular event.

Burleigh Solstice Festival - June 20th from 3pm Until 9pm

The annual Solstice Festival brings the Gold Coast community together to celebrate the shortest day and longest night of the year. Make your way to Burleigh just as the sun is setting and you will find the main streets of the seaside village a winter wonderland of colour, lights, entertainment, music, magic and mystery.

The Festival program includes hours of non stop stage entertainment. There is everything from rhythm and blues to folk and jazz to musicals, Broadway & opera.  The program caters for the whole family and the event has attracted bands such as Blind Lemon and Leaping Lizard in the past. Stay tuned for this years lineup.

Street entertainers add colour and excitement. Stilt walkers, viking warriors, balloon twisting, face painting, roving magicians and fire twirlers all contribute to the fun of the festival. As the afternoon turns to evening the streets are a colourful display of activity, entertainment and fun for all the family to enjoy.

The Gold Coast Marathon

Come to the Gold Coast for its beautiful beaches and set yourself a challenge! Staged annually on the first Sunday in July, this year’s 32nd Gold Coast Airport Marathon is set to motivate and challenge more than 21,000 people of all ages and abilities. There will be a Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km Run, a new 5km Run/Walk and Junior Dash races for the kids over 4km and 2.25km. Burleigh Beachfront Markets - Last Sunday of Every Month

Beachfront Art & Craft Markets are held the Last Sunday of each month at Burleigh Heads. Located on The Esplanade, an easy walk from all accommodation apartments. If you are shopping for crafts, art, gift, souvenirs or the weird & wonderful all will be found at these markets. The market consists of over 200 stalls showcasing the best of Australian made products.

The Village Markets - First Sunday of Every Month

The Village Markets are brand new to the Gold Coast and are celebrating colourful and cool market days at Burleigh Heads State School. Combining the quirky style of some of the Gold Coast's best up and coming fashion designers, artists and vintage collections, The Village Markets are about showcasing exactly what the Coast has to offer as well as being a creative hub for locals.
